DECOLU consults for the Wildlife Conservation Society—a global conservation organization—to develop future fire probability models for the Yukon Territory. The project is part of an overarching objective of evaluating how climate change has influenced the current and future probability of fire occurrences across the Yukon landscapes and the feedback on lichen-caribou relationship.
DECOLU consults for the Government of the Northwest Territories to evaluate the climate change vulnerability of wildlife across the boreal and arctic regions of northwest North America. The project objectives are to evaluate the pattern of change among species (~80 species) and to identify climate change refugia for species that are (or might be) at risk.
